Casepage User:Mrmiscellanious[edit]

I find Mrmiscellanious behaviour unacceptable and start this page to come to a solution. The correct way of handle this problem is not clear but some kind of resolution is necessary to avoid harm to Wikinews project. This page is under construction until I announce it in talk:Administrators International 05:42, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Policy reforms may be the best way to resolve this type of problem as to some degree I have observed the traits perhaps best observed in the user Mrmiscellanious to be present in most users. Though I have only been contributing for roughly four months on this site I have observed it for nearly a year. The user Mrmiscellanious seems to generally object to the idea that even administrators are only equal to every other user in the importance of their edits to articles. I seem to recall several mentions of community made by the user yet the user seems to frequently deny negotiation with other users, even those with focus only on improving the accuracy of articles and that many disputes with the user arise from poorly worded complaints of policy violation. To possibly resolve this I suggest that in concept two or perhaps three policies be implemented to generally improve user relations in the community and that they be uniformly applied.

I suggest that a precise and directly worded policy be considered that might embody perhaps such agreements between users as: for the betterment of the community and site that users promise to contribute as much as possible when in a conflict as when not in one, and that the contributions of all users at all times and in all situations are equal so far as greater accuracy is attained or at least greater quantity of relevant information is added, and that the NPOV and other policies are obeyed.

I have seen, one example recently by this user in the article "Ayman al-Zawahiri releases new tape," but also from many user in many situations making complaints of violations that they failed to explain adequately so that the violation could be terminated as the complaints were not understood by the user or administrator complained against (and others with the same that remained disputed to the end without any further effective description). For this I recommend that a second new policy, perhaps set of policies to be precise, be considered: to set up a work project to add section and sub-section numbers to policy documents in order to expedite references to specific lines and clauses and also to require that both specific section numbers be included in complaints regarding policy transgressions and that upon request detailed explanation of how the action considered violating the policy actually violates the policy be required from the user or administrator making the accusation for the accusation to be formalized and considered valid by the community and be enforceable.

It, I believe, is the duty of administrators to effectively communicate policy violation complaints to potential violators so that it can be determined if policy was violated intentionally and that administrators then proceed properly and also the responsibility of users to effectively communicate with community members for the betterment of articles to which they contribute and that for this purpose any and every request for clarification must be addressed in as calm and formal, perhaps even to the degree of being strict, a manner as required. Harrassment[edit]

Please be aware MrMiscellanious has repeatedly been attacked on the ground discussed here, and has been reviewed repeatedly by the community which has determined, repeatedly, that these are not reasonable basis for de-adminship. Further attempts documenting such non-policy violations will be considered disruptive and harrassing.

Where a user has basis for complaint within policy, please contact any admin immediately. You may also consider there is an ArbCom being discussed, and will likely be approved on January 31st. - Amgine | talk en.WN 07:11, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Well you find this little page an started to defend Mrm. As a vigourus defender of Mrm:s harrasing of users here you might find that nobody will contact you with complains. Thretening words like "Further attempts documenting such non-policy violations will be considered disruptive and harrassing" make you an part of the problem discussed here. Btw you talk about Mrm:s hairthin success in not been rfda saved by a minority, with you within, and in mind that you tried to ban user:Neutralizer with opposit rules make you look... not really good. In my opinion you should try help to solve this problem. Thats what administrator are for. International 09:12, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Please feel free to express your opinions in your user space, where I have moved this page. In this way I have removed any issues regarding your making an additional attempt to de-admin a contributor.
I believe we have radically differing opinions on how to support the Wikinews community, which results in you believing there is a problem with MrMiscellanious and my opinion there is a problem within the community—some members not accepting other members as part of the same community. - Amgine | talk en.WN 09:24, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
