  • Received a National Weather Service update document via e-mail (I fowarded the PDF to Scoop) about 10:40am local time on 5/21/2013.....some highlights included:
    • A map indicated Canton, Athen, Palestine, Fort Worth, Dallas, Corsican [and a few others] could see tornadoes.

  • Notified by phone 5/21/2013 at 11:35am that Kindegarten graduation for East Texas Christian Academy (in Tyler)has been canceled due to severe weather predictions. --Bddpaux (talk) 14:12, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • My observations while driving westward from Tyler, Texas to Chandler, Texas about 5:20pm - 5:45pm on 5/21/2013 were:
    • Severe winds, blowing debris onto streets.
    • Severe winds caused a huge tree limb to fall about 12 feet away from my car(!!!)
