There are always things to do on Wikinews:
- Existing articles need expanding and checking for spelling and mistakes

- Developing stories need finishing and publishing
- Discussions need your input
- Audio Wikinews could always use more contributors
- And of course, stories need writing!
By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. Sources that go stale[edit]
I also wanted to mention that we do not remove from the sources section any source even if they are taken off-line. We keep them as a record of where we got the information. If you explore our archives, you will see that a vast amount of sources have gone dead. We keep the links as a record to show that we didn't make it up out of thin air.
