SoLando, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. Fourth bomber

[edit]

Actually, you were right to start a new article :-). The Wikinews:Content guide says one event=one article. In this instance, the news of the arrest of the fourth bomber is kinda lost as the headline of the raids article doesn't mention it (we could change it, but it's long enough already!). If you don't mind, I'm going to undelete your article and lazily expand it :-) Dan100 (Talk) 17:08, 29 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the Help

Hey SoLando, thanks for the assistance with the Anthony Walker story. I've never created a story on Wikinews before, but there was a VfD for the Anthony Walker article on Wikipedia and several people suggested creating a Wikinews story. It's great to have someone who knows what they're doing (more than me, which isn't saying much), and especially a Liverpudlian to whom the story is relatively local. If you haven't voted in the VfD, you might want to. Cheers! DavidConrad 06:45, 1 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
