fire story[edit]

I retire for the evening. This is note to advise you that the authors who are reporting the much higher death toll from the fire, and are now pursued for those reports, is a new and different news report. I imagine too, that the gas line that blew up going into Georgia is also news. Best regards. -Edbrown05 06:04, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I will do my best. Best regards. Svobo 06:15, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for re-englishing of the article about Vladivostok. -Svobo 23:40, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

You're welcome! You did good work on that story and I was happy to clean up the language. Imroy 06:14, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Allow me to explain our Fair Use policy. Wikinews can only accept images which are publicity images, or corporate logos/trademarks, or screen captures for illustration. We can also accept images from IRIN and Crown Copyright (UK). We cannot accept images which are from another news source unless that news source licenses the image freely, such as under the GFDL or Creative Commons. If the image is freely licensed it should be hosted at commons.wikimedia.org.
Any image which meets our Fair Use policy must include a uri indicating where the image is from, and requires an appropriate license tag. You can select the license tag quite easily when you upload the image; there is a menu to choose from there. - Amgine | talk en.WN 08:22, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. it's helpful information. I'm not sure how to fix a license tag, if it's not chosen initially? --Svobo 08:28, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Select the appropriate tag (see Wikinews:Image copyright tags), and add it to the Image's article. Make sure you also include the full url to the image. - Amgine | talk en.WN 08:33, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
