Wikinews:Requests for permissions/Administrator/Kmweber

I've been working on the English wikipedia for some time now, mostly copyediting and minor additions; however, I also wrote w:Testor Corporation and am now researching for rewrites of w:Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and w:Second Lateran Council. On wikinews, I've been writing one or two articles a day, making some policy suggestions (and raising questions) and generally trying to keep things organized as new people get used to the proto-policies.
Should I be selected as an admin, I would continue with keeping category pages clean and free of debris (links to non-existent stories, etc.) and helping to enforce the review process. I would also work on keeping the existing category system in check and in use--making sure articles are listed in all the appropriate categories, and possibly grouping articles on related topics together in their own categories. - I haven't seen any problems caused by lack of administrators yet. If I'm not missing some problem, I think we should wait to draw from a larger community. --119 04:30, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Withdraw objection as vandalism has been not-infrequent after the Wired mention. --119 03:26, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Nothing personal, but I'd like to wait a few more weeks, based on my experiences on IRC with Kurt.--Eloquence 09:07, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Object. He's disrespectful to users, among other things telling a French speaker who said "a" instead of "an" to "learn proper English" today. 119 09:09, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
