About synthesis articles
Couple of my articles have been rejected in review/pre-review because they have not been seen as synthesis articles. The way I understand it, according to definitions here and here, is that a synthesis articles have their contents verified by two (or more) independent sources. In review comments of my articles, it has been said that the information from the different sources should have different information to provide to the article. I don't see that requirement in the definitions of synthetic articles.
I checked a couple of published articles and at least here and here I see them having more than two sources and I'm pretty sure that not all of the sources offer different, or at least different, very relevant information to the story. Lejar (talk) 20:46, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
