Please provide URL for the original "Talk" page for Earth story[edit]

I see that a nice new headline has been provided for the ecology story. I was wondering where the talk page that was attached to the original story might be found, davidood?

I would not imagine it was deleted since that is against wiki policy. --Alan J. Franklin 19:33, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

BTW...I had added some comments to the Talk page this morning, just before the title of the article was changed because you were afraid the earth was alive...heh. I would like to keep the whole record with all of my Wiki stuff. --Alan J. Franklin 20:34, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, Alan. I will find that url in just a second. - Amgine 20:37, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

There appears to have been a database gork during the move; all of the edits were there in the history, but only the move message was left visible. I've restored it for the moment, but it's pretty acrimonious in there. Might be better to revert it to the broken version and let the article continue to develop. - Amgine 20:48, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Amgine, I don't see it yet. Acrimonious or not, I would doubt that anyone can simply make a decision to delete a page without some sort of agreement. Anyway, I would like the page restored. Thank you. PS...we're all grown ups...it's not too acrimonious. It's just sticking by the rules of the WIKI --Alan J. Franklin 20:52, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

You'll probably need to purge you browser's cache. On Mozilla this is ctrl-R or alt-R (or cmd-R on Mac). I'll add a purge button to the page, too. This link should bring you to the right page, and here's the dif showing what I did to restore the page. - Amgine 21:01, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Hey all. There was a submit upload error dump this morning when I was trying to explain the article move. I must have mistakenly overwritten the entire page when I attempted to recover the upload after the screen dump. Sorry for any inconvenience. Lucklily with wiki nothing is ever permanent and all past versions are saved forever in one form or another - allowing for easy recovery. ;-) -- Davodd | Talk 21:10, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Let's just forget about it, eh Davodd...Amgine? It's sort of like yesterday's news and I would like to write something for today before it's time to go to sleep again ;-) --Alan J. Franklin 21:40, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)
