Ground rules
[edit]The only thing I have to say right away is not to make personal attacks, or even personal remarks that may be misconstrued as attacks. I'd like this page to be relatively positive. You might also consider trying to avoid conflict outside this page for the duration of this DR, but I'm not going to enforce it for now. I really don't want to dole out punishments, because for one, that's what ArbCom does, and it's not a good way to actually resolve the dispute.
A start.
[edit]It took a while, but this is where this will (hopefully) be resolved to everyone's contentment. I know I've asked you privately on some things, but specifically, and in detail, describe your points of contention with each other. What did the other person do wrong? More importantly, what did you do wrong? Part of my goal here is making sure you both understand that you've both done some things wrong in the conflict- whether it be starting the problem, or making it worse, inadvertently or not. - Thanks, Ral315, for being willing to take this on.
- I do not personally have a dispute with DragonFire1024. I expect the user to be a positive contributor on Wikinews, net. He may have difficulties with me, however, as I do not have trust in this user currently such that I would nominate or support him as an admin. I also do not enjoy working with this contributor, either as a fellow editor or as an admin of the project. Neither of these would constitute a dispute. - Amgine | talk en.WN 01:59, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Amgine, you have never trusted me. As far as I can see you never gave me a chance. I have said time and time again, IMO you have done nothing but shoot me down at every corner. In any situation that may arise with us, you try to assume total control. I feel as if my opinion or concerns don't matter to you, and that you really don't care. You will go out of your way to block me and kick me and ban me, but so far yuou have not assisted me, but rather discounted 95% of my contributions. Jason Safoutin 02:05, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response here, DragonFire1024. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to answer Ral315's questions above? I've stated here and elsewhere that I do not have a dispute with you to be resolved; perhaps you could explain with specificity and detail the dispute you have with me which caused you to bring this dispute resolution request? - Amgine | talk en.WN 04:29, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
