On Wednesday, multiple drones from the Iranian-backed Islamist group Hezbollah, struck the town of Hurfeish in northern Israel, injuring eleven people. Hezbollah is based in Lebanon and listed as a terrorist organization by the United States.
The attacks have resulted in the hospitalization of eleven Israeli civilians for inhaling smoke as well as large-scale destruction of forests. The fires are reported to have affected 3,500 acres of land.

A massive weather system with high winds swept across the eastern part of the US state of Texas including Tyler, Texas on Monday evening Central Daylight Time (CDT), resulting in power outages, downed trees and property damage. The storm struck the Tyler area around 8:00 p.m. CDT (01:00 UTC).
