On June 10, the United States State Department reversed a ten-year-old restriction on the use of their weapons by the Azov Brigade of Ukraine after determining it has not committed human rights violations. The Azov Brigade is known in Ukraine for participating in the defense of Mariupol in 2022.
On June 6, the Israel Defense Forces reported they had discovered a tunnel in a child's bedroom in Rafah, belonging to Hamas, which is recognized by the United States as a terrorist organization. A butcher's knife was also reported to have been found near the tunnel's entrance.
On June 5, in an exchange with International press in Saint Petersburg, president Vladimir Putin warned Russia could give weapons to other countries to strike Western nations. Putin did not specify any countries or which weapons may be provided.
