On June 10, the United States State Department reversed a ten-year-old restriction on the use of their weapons by the Azov Brigade of Ukraine after determining it has not committed human rights violations. The Azov Brigade is known in Ukraine for participating in the defense of Mariupol in 2022.
On June 6, the Israel Defense Forces reported they had discovered a tunnel in a child's bedroom in Rafah, belonging to Hamas, which is recognized by the United States as a terrorist organization. A butcher's knife was also reported to have been found near the tunnel's entrance.
On Saturday, in the ninth edition of the T20 Men's Cricket World Cup, Team India won against South Africa by seven runs. The final match was played at the Kensington Oval Stadium in Barbados.
