On Monday, Kajsa Ollongren, the Dutch Minister of Defence announced the Netherlands has 24 F-16 fighter jets planned for donation to Ukraine that would be allowed to be used to strike inside of Russia.

Russia warns United States against allowing cross-border strikes by Ukraine

On Monday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned that the United States of America could face "fatal consequences" from allowing Ukraine to use Western weapons for strikes inside Russia. This was in response to Antony Blinken, United States Secretary of State, announcing permission has been granted for Ukrainian strikes inside Russia near Kharkiv Oblast.

Former US President Donald Trump was convicted, by a New York Supreme Court jury, of 34 counts of falsifying business records on Thursday. It is the first time a US president has been convicted on criminal charges, and Trump is now the first former president to become a felon.
