Bus and train collision kills at least 28 in Cuba

State TV reports that a bus collided with a train in Cuba Saturday killing at least 28 people. Another 73 people were injured in the accident, including 15 in critical condition.
A statement read on state television said the collision occurred in the province of Granma.
Juventud Rebelde newspaper reports that the accident occurred at a railroad crossing in the very small town of Veguita in the Bayamo municipality.
The train was traveling from Santiago to Manzanillo, when it collided with a bus that was traveling from Bayamo to Campechuela.
The train hit the bus, dragged it across the tracks, and pushed it off a nearby bridge. The cause remains under investigation.
