This is an encyclopedic category. We are not Wikipedia. If we have one for him then every person we write about has to have a category. Please discuss this. IMO I think it should be deleted. DragonFire1024 05:46, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does not, but Wikinews should keep sorted these news tidbits in the public record of people it reports upon. Useful stuff for researching a current story, if the occasion calls for an understanding what happened earlier. -Edbrown05 07:41, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, we need this. These things are part of the archive principles. Wait until it's time to write Dick's obit. Then you just need to go to one page to get all the newsie background stuff.
