I wouldn't believe that God told him to run her off the road because God wouldn't want violence

You should read the old testament! Telling humans to stone adulterers is the tame stuff. --Brian McNeil / talk 00:04, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Our governing officials[edit]

The article says that a Senator tried to bring a lawsuit against God. How did someone like that get elected? Doesn't he have more pressing matters to attend to? Makes a person wonder what our Senators really do with all their time and money. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.33.132.19 (talk) 05:33, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

The senator was breaking the system. He was making a statement about the 'acts of God' clause that insurance companies often hide behind to avoid payouts. -LambaJan (talk) 12:58, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Do not blame God for your own Actions[edit]

Well, religions and religious people believe and say that God rewards any individual for doing good and righteous things and punishes any individual for doing evils. So those who really believe in God should not blame God for all the sins and inhuman activities they are committing.

Because if God was to cause you to do that activity (good or evil) then how would God reward or punish for the things he himself has ordered you. We all believe that God is the wisest most judicious, powerful, merciful, gracious as well as full of justice, then accepting and having all these precious qualities and characteristics how would he make any irrational and unjustifiable decision.

That is, we who brutalize, assault and abuse humanity and the world as a whole. Those who don not believe in God will never blame the God for their actions, so they are at least better than believers in terms of not ill-treating the name of God. —Preceding unsigned comment added by B mobarez (talkcontribs) 08:27, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I wonder what God will tell him to do in prison... -LambaJan (talk) 13:00, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thou shalt not drop the soap in the showers! --Brian McNeil / talk 13:09, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have a comment. If the media would stop reporting all the crazy things people to do to get attention, alot of crazy things would stop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.38.79.125 (talk) 18:46, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wouldn't that be a bit self-fulfilling, though?--207.233.67.28 01:43, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sueing GOD or Satan.[edit]

End is near, People don't know the difference between Almighty God and the Satan. They are blinded by the love of life and material. At least they know there are some powers other than themselves. It is kind a dyeing soul of humans quest for truth and reality. All praise be to God. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.151.20.53 (talk) 20:06, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Now I have a headache[edit]

""God must have been with them, 'cause any other time, the severity of this crash, it would have been a fatal," said Kyle Coleman, a spokesman for the Bexar County sheriff's department."

My body crumpled and I hit my head on my desk. Kyle's comment is so absurd it's actually sort of beautiful. --207.233.67.28 01:40, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

For God "Jesus" is Love and who ever dose not Love dose not know God "Jesus". This is how we know what Love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us, And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 1st John 3:16

Also the true desciption of Love is this: Love is patient, love is kind . It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not pround. it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts always hopes, always persevers. 1st Corinthians 13:4,5,6,& 7

And last would be: Whwn tempted , no one should say, "God is tempting me," For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full grown, gives birth to death. James 1:13,14 and 15 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 208.38.120.228 (talkcontribs)

Is God responsible ?[edit]

I wish people would stop blaming God for all the problems in the world. I believe that if there is a God he is a benign soul and a fatherly figure who just oversees things. If there is a devil and he is the king of evil then he is responsible for all the woes of the world. People are very often the architects of their own destruction and when they fully understand this hopefully they will stop passing the buck. As a regular driver on 281...[edit]

...I can assure you all that the woman most certainly wasn't driving right. --72.191.23.43 05:00, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thx for a ridiculous story that once again shows religion turns people into lunatics. I am with the judge anyway, god is responsible for not letting the woman drive properly.24.132.170.97 04:34, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wow.[edit]

I'm going to try to keep this within the limits of politeness, because this kind of stuff really riles me up, evidenced by the fact i made an account just to post this. Someone going ahead and doing something like this because they think god told them to ought to be a crime in itself. I hope that at the very least this man will be spending some time in jail and be set straight by the judge. If the courts leave this guy's punishment to a higher power or don't discipline him enough, it just goes to show how deluding the view of a higher power influencing our actions really can be for some people. In one sense or another, actions causing harm to another should NEVER be blamed on god, or anyone but the one perpetuating them. This guy should lose his liscence, because no matter how bad of a driver that woman was, ramming her at 100mph was far more an infraction than going a bit too slow on the highway. I hope they throw the book at this idiot, and not the 'good' one. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 1up.247 (talkcontribs)
