...in the midst of an international financial crisis!

See the front page. Two financial stories there already. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 11:58, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh thank Satan![edit]

In the midst of economic collapse, war, cover-ups, human rights violations, and the election of a president in the U.S. that could either save the world or destroy it, I'm so glad we have people like these to save us from all of the violence and evil in the world! This nose-balloon blower is absolutely necessary, important news -- This guy is a living Superman, fighting the bad guys by achieving absolutely ridiculous world records. Oh, I'm so glad that we don't have war to worry about anymore, now that we've got a guy who can blow a balloon with his nose. Most newsworthy thing I've ever seen on Wikinews. 24.56.51.114 14:27, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So much sarcasm is bad for my heart condition. I'd like to live to see Iran nuke Washington D.C. when that John 'nice old man' McCain orders an invasion. --Brian McNeil / talk 15:17, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
People write what appeals to them. The fact that we are able to take a small story and put on Wikinews is wonderful. I actually feel a little more better when stories like this come along. There is too much war, too much terrorism and too much violence. If you think that all of that are the only things in the world that are newsworthy, then you watch too much FAUX News. If you are so offended by the article being written, why waste your time reading about it and complaining. Get on with your own life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.54.202.30 (talk) 13:38, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
