India appoints new envoy to Bhutan

The Indian government has appointed Sudhir Vyas as its new envoy to Bhutan. Vyas is currently India's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and will replace K S Jasrotia as the new envoy.
Chandra Mohan Bhandari, currently Additional Secretary in the External Affairs Ministry, will replace Vyas as ambassador to the UAE.
Vyas is expected to start his new posting shortly.
