Yeah, Criticisim of NATO and the UN is a double edge thing. Nato is militarily controlled by the US and UK, so Aznar criticism seems to be directed to France, Belgium, Spain and Germany for their refusals to participate in Iraq. Similar situation happens with the UN, that has been criticised by the US who labels the UN useless; however the US has the longest record of vetoing the US resolutions proposed by th rest of the world.
