would like some feedback on whether it should be posted as a series of unconfirmed stories as there is nothing yet to confirm that Carlos Slim has actually signed the deal.....Bjornengelhardt (talk) 07:43, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great job on starting the news :D ... i read several external articles saying that they don't have a deal yet and that there's a line-up of four people to put Honda back into Formula One... I believe that either we wait to see who's gonna sign the deal then we start an article about it, or we rename this article to "Candidates to put Honda Formula One back on track" or something like it and start the article about it. You're right, all we know so far is that there's this series of unconfirmed stories... so there's no verifiability anywhere. --AlexDuarte (talk) 00:05, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changed heading as the reports of Slim buying honda seem to be false.....changed theme of article to be more about Honda still looking for buyer Bjornengelhardt (talk) 23:58, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Review[edit]

ive reviewed the above comments and notes are:

1. 40% slump was referred to in previous wikinews articles and that was approved and published

2. Mallya's constant failure to finish details are available onthe F1 website link which has full details for every race, team etc

3. Richards F1 experience is linked to Wikipedia.....details his experience with BAR & Benneton

4. Removed sentence "This lack of success"

Because Wikipedia is a wiki, and doesn't have FlaggedRevs like us, it is not a reliable source. I'll see what I can turf up on it myself, though. I will look through the F1 stuff, I only checked the immediate page linked but assuming that's true then that's sorted. Can you show me an article with '40% slump' in it for me to check? Ok, I got it. I'll assume that article was reviewed correctly. Other stuff sourced properly now. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 13:31, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
