Infobox[edit]

If we have a lead image, why restore the infobox? --InfantGorilla (talk) 16:54, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the purpose of an infobox is not to illustrate an article that does not have a picture (as you explained it the other day), but to provide a reference for previous developments in this story. WackyWacetalk 17:14, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Somewhere in the guidelines (I forget where) we are encouraged to add one infobox if an article is otherwise unillustrated. We have related news, categories and wikilinks to dig deeper. Infoboxes look quite different a few months later in any case. --InfantGorilla (talk) 19:50, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, traditionally infoboxes were almost seen as something to shove on articles without piccies. Nowadays, I do tend to see them on pretty much everything, however. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 19:53, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Factual accuracy[edit]

I've made a slight change per the comments page. Hopefully that about covers it. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 11:58, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You changes were spot on. It would have been good to restore the 2007 start of the blockade and the views of its purpose as Newscaster proposed, but given the trouble you already identified with that paragraph, I think it was appropriate to demand sources. I look forward to reading more neutral articles on this topic, as Wikinews had said nothing about Israel-Palestine since July, and I find the English language media often has biased coverage. --InfantGorilla (talk) 16:11, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
