Talk:Report says US military gear sold to Iran and China

The wording of this article seems to imply that the U.S. gov't was selling material *directly* to people associated with Iran. i.e. "the Defense Department had resold the parts to another buyer suspected of being a broker..." This is not what the cited articles say; they imply that criminals within the defense made illegal sales, or that there was a longer series of middlemen. I dunno, but that's my impression...

I agree. From the various sources on google that I have read, it states that Iran was not even supposed to get the parts but that the deal was done through a thrid party. Bush says Iran is the "axis of evil." Why would he want classified or sensitive material sent to an enemy like Iran? DragonFire1024 20:44, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I assumed it was clear from the story but I tried to make it more clear now, if there are still things unclear you can just correct or rephrase them.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 22:27, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
