[edit] About Me
I discovered Wikinews in mid-March 2005 while trying to start a Wiki based news website. I had just finished getting my site set up when I found Wikinews. I was very happy to discover I would not need to be the one to start it. :) I joined Wikinews and made my first edit on March 15 2005. I became an admin on 25 May 2005. On 3 October 2005 I became a bureaucrat. I am a member of the Wikinews Arbcom and I have Checkuser status. On 22 Dec 2006 I became a Steward. I am currently in the final semester of a MA Anthropology program at the University of South Carolina. My research is looking at the relationship between food and national identity in Fiji. This has consumed most of my time for the past year and a half and will likely continue to leave me with little free time until May. After May, I hope to resume a reasonable activity level.
I am interested in stories about technology, law, Fiji and the rest of the South Pacific.

If you need me, please leave a note on my talk page or send me an e-mail.
[edit] My Projects
I created the Wikinews:Print edition and used to update it. Hopefully it will be replaced by an automated system in the future.
I also currently operate the script that generates the RSS feed. If you run into problems with it or have questions about it please let me know.
