Rename?
[edit]@Green Giant: Alternatively, perhaps (and I'm happy to do the legwork on this, as you've done the hard part which is finding the articles in the first place) we should call this either "Iraqi Parliament" or "Iraqi Council of Representatives". Most of the other legislatures I see we've named without a sort key but when possible we've chosen the ordering of words so that the name of the country is at the front. --Pi zero (talk) 00:51, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Pi zero: I think either one would be fine but I’d tend towards "Iraqi Parliament" because it seems the majority of articles use this and the Parliament website too. -Green Giant (talk) 00:59, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, I'm thinking about how best to go about this. With a semi-automated assistant, I'd say create the new category with a usage note that the category is in the process of being moved there from here, put a usage note here that the category is in the process of being moved there, switch over the mainspace redirects and recat the articles at leisure, then remove the usage notes and either delete the old category or history-merge it into the new one. But without an assistant, that's a lot of rigamarole for nine articles, so I'll probably just do it and let things be a little broken for a while while it's happening. --Pi zero (talk) 01:21, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
