People by occupation?[edit]

@SVTCobra: She does belong to Category:Scientologists, which is in Category:People by occupation. The term "occupation" is perhaps imperfect (especially re Category:Causes célèbres), but I've yet to come up with an alternative that would be an improvement. --Pi zero (talk) 17:53, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I've now put her in Category:Causes célèbres because it seems to be what she became for Anonymous, but I don't think we should begin considering a person's faith to be their 'occupation' or what they do in life. --SVTCobra 18:01, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@SVTCobra: Most of the people in Category:Scientologists are either high in the Church's power hierarchy, or significant for another reason so that their identity is significant to the Church. If "Scientologists" isn't the right name for that category, I'm not sure what would be. --Pi zero (talk) 18:06, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. Only David Miscavige and two people in the "Former" sub-category fit being people in the hierarchy. --SVTCobra 18:11, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Granted, I've been focusing on the people who are directly in the cat, rather than former. That leaves only five, of which Miscavige is in the power structure, three are public personalities who have actively promoted the Church, and then there's Lisa McPherson. --Pi zero (talk) 18:24, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
