This was a hearing on Russian involvement in the election
This wasn't a hearing to gather information about Trump; this was a hearing about Russia's involvement in the 2016 election. Congress wanted to understand what Russia's involvement in our political process looks like, how it occurs, and how much of a threat it is. Trump is peripheral to this. I'd like to see the entire current administration thrown out on its arse, too, but that's no reason to distort the facts into sensational news. Bluefoxicy (talk) 14:21, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Indeed. Distorting facts would be directly contrary to Wikinews's purpose. Pi zero (talk) 17:12, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
