Kudankulam nuclear power plant -a major impact to Sri Lanka than to any other place

It is very true that it has an effect to India. But it's important to state that it has a major effect towards Sri Lanka, because the distance between this nuclear power plant and closely populated city in India is about 480 miles away, but it's only 180 away in regarded with the case of Sri Lanka. So the establishment of this Kudankulam nuclear power plant will have it's major impact to Sri Lanka than to any other place.

It is among th safest nuclear power plants on earth. Government would for sure persuade these people in some time. And the Government has full authority to plant a Nuclear Power Plant as it is in the NATIONAL interest.!! and they can oppress any one in their way.

Comments from feedback form - "There were only a few hundred ..."

There were only a few hundred people. Not 50000. The person who was killed was shot as he was part of a mob that set fire to a police station.

Regarding the person who was killed: The BBC did report it was when police were dispersing people who were blocking a road. Our article doesn't report that as fact, but rather attributes it to the BBC report.
