I live next to the spider web[edit]

It's not a big deal. We've had horrible flooding this year which has caused bugs to breed in ridiculous numbers. Banana spiders are responsible for this, as webs like this are all over around here now in varying degrees. The bugs here are absolutely horrible, and this web is testament to this. --71.96.133.86 12:53, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you take a picture for us, and release it under a free license? Or maybe even a video? Would you be interested in an interview (if someone had the time to interview you)? --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 18:11, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit[edit]

Should the [sic] be removed from the quote from Mike Quinn? I don't see anything wrong with what he said in regards to grammar or spelling, though I suppose there could be a factual error in there. Heavy Water (talk) 17:20, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is an embedded note which states: "Sic because entomologists study insects, and spiders are arachnids, and not actually related" ... still, I don't know if we should keep the [sic]. SVTCobra 00:16, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Corrected. I think it needed to go. I can say, "I've heard a lot of circus clowns talking about spiders." Circus clowns can voice opinions about spiders AND I'd bet entymologists have smart things to say about spiders too!--Bddpaux (talk) 15:43, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
