Interview notes[edit]

They can be found in the file below. The interviews were conducted during the ACT v Japan game, around the fifth and sixth inning. I informed them as to who I was, what I did, etc. We did have a bit of an interesting conversation about press coverage for men's softball in Australia. (It doesn't exist.) There was also a comparison to the women's sport in terms of funding. It just did not feel like the right place to discuss it in this.

I've got some clumps of article text that I really don't think correspond to anything in this PDF, and moreover the PDF starts with several pages of notes that are evidently about the other article the reporter recently submitted for review.
  • It seems reasonable to get clarification on this before proceeding, as this is OR whose value is not time-sensitive to a matter of hours.

    • Sorry. Yeah. The first few pages were related to the other softball story. I think the first three pages are the softball game and the three pages were the interview with the boys. :) (They were exceedingly nice.   • The main thing I couldn't relate to the notes was the four consecutive sentences re Folkard's father; consulted with reporter on IRC, who confirmed that wasn't in the notes (with a brief but effective description of juggling photography, interviewing, and watching the game). There are other specifics not explicitly corresponding to the notes but, balancing credibility with the nature of details, that was the block of text I was most interested to understand.

The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.

I didn't tag it as an interview as I didn't have any quotes. And yeah, I talked to them during about three innings of the game. I was trying to take photographs, take game notes, and interview them. (The ACTAS softball related trainer actually suggested I interview them.) They were sitting in the outfield when I was doing it. In the middle of everything, the father of Folkard wandered over.
