Journalist notes

Rename will be happening to include Paralympians. --LauraHale (talk) 02:14, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thoughts

[edit]
  • I'm concerned that the focus of the article isn't better anchored to a specific time (news is an earthquake rather than continental drift). This may be simply a matter of presentation, though I'm too fatigued (in one sense or another) to envision the fix for it.--Pi zero (talk) 03:30, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
    • Hard to anchor. I've put in some times when possible to say when they have competed, when they will leave, etc. There is a lot going on and I want to kind of do a news round up of sorts. I'm trying to pull the most recent sources when doing this to address the timeliness issue. --LauraHale (talk) 03:35, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
      • With the right approach (whatever that is), this should be newsworthy, but we really want to get this right to avoid setting a bad precedent. Perhaps consider it this way: The headline as written could just as well describe an article written a week earlier, or a week later, and that's a bad sign for the way the article focus is being presented. --Pi zero (talk) 03:45, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Order

[edit]

Sources were listed as I used them. The country order was alphabetical based on English language name. 11 countries included. I probably could have done more but the track championship is today, with some events starting Friday afternoon referenced in it. If it didn't get submitted and reviewed quickly, major dating problem. --05:45, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
