Journalist notes

[edit]

I attended the 2012 Australian National Archery Championships at Tuggeranong Archery Club today from roughly 9:30am to 1pm UTC+11. I specifically went with the intention of trying to take pictures of the Australian archers who may be going to the Olympics. Hence, the two interviews. This and Australian archer Alice Ingley readies for potential Olympic spot happened roughly around the same time. I talked to one and then another. My notes start off with Ingley, then Snazelle before going on to the field archers. The suggestion to covering field archery was made at the suggestion of the organisers, who thought the pictures would be prettier.

Sorry about the handwriting and not splitting the notes. Some points, like Olympic qualification, are possibly drawn from other parts. --LauraHale (talk) 05:09, 27 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Recursive event?

[edit]

The event is referred to in the article as a "recursive event". Shouldn't that be "recurve event"? I'm no expert, but the word "recursive" seems wrong here. (See http://www.wordreference.com/definition/recursive - this is not discussing mathematics or computing. 131.107.0.86 (talk) 18:34, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Done Checked with the author; it's a typo. Thanks. --Pi zero (talk) 20:11, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
