Reporter's notes

[edit]

I am very much unsure as to whether this will be suitable for publishing, as I straight-up didn't take notes at the time. I can briefly summarise what happened - I showed up at around 12:45, took photos at the Civic Hall until about 13:35 when they started moving (and for the record, the big photo on slide nine was not organised by me) and walked ahead to Catherine King MP's office after they crossed Mair Street. They arrived outside the town hall at 13:45, and speeches went on for about an hour until they walked up Armstrong Street to return to the Civic Hall and end the event there. All of my photos should be timestamped, which should help. I did make note of all the speakers shown in this article and which group they were affiliated with, but if any further verification is required it should take nothing more than a quick Google search. --LivelyRatification (talk) 00:13, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Also, if you have a better title idea or better image caption ideas, please do feel free to add them in. --LivelyRatification (talk) 00:13, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Quick go over

[edit]

I've given this article a quick look. The reporters notes have been read and seem to verify most of the lede. The photos look like the verify the remainder. I'll give it a good look when I can. --RockerballAustralia contribs 09:12, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Just did a word count. It comes out at 82 words. A quote might be useful if available. --RockerballAustralia contribs 23:09, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Won't add a direct quote, but will add a bit more to get it past 100. LivelyRatification (talk) 23:16, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
@RockerballAustralia: I believe the middle person in the photo of the Greens supporter is the local Greens candidate for Ballarat. I can't be 100% sure, but I do remember the MC announcing that he was present, as well as the state MP for Wendouree. I'll try and find a source for the latter since I didn't get a picture of her. I cross checked with the photo on the other Ballarat article waiting review and it does the middle person in the photo in this article is the same person. RockerballAustralia contribs 23:28, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Cannot find a source for her attendance, unfortunately. LivelyRatification (talk) 23:28, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Cool!

[edit]

I'm not messing with the proposed changes, but...cool photos! We need more photo essays.--Bddpaux (talk) 21:47, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
