A few pre-review comments

Thanks for writing this article. I had a few comments about it that I think should be addressed before it can be reviewed.

• "The new president had held the post as acting speaker of parliament" can this be clarified? Who are we talking about? What post are we talking about?
• What political parties are these people members of and very briefly what are these parties' main points? (always important when talking about elections)
• What is a "reapprochment"? It sounds odd and is probably PR speak (thus not NPOV).
