Review of revision 1118632 [Passed][edit]

Too close[edit]

Most of the first two paragraphs of this article are substantially copied from the MSNBC sources, sentence-by-sentence with minor rewording. It's my understanding that that's a copyvio. Simply removing the material did not seem appropriate, and such an extensive rewrite would not be self-reviewable even if I were up to it (which I am not at this time). I have therefore suspended publication, using a technique that I hope will not mess up the internal bookkeeping of the site, so that changing the {{depublish}} tag back to {{publish}} will cause the article to reappear in its correct chronological order on the main page, rather than getting bumped to the top of the list. --Pi zero (talk) 14:26, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

I've just had another look through the MSNBC source, and, yes, you are completely correct. I'm not entirely sure why I didn't pick that up during my review, and I apologize for not doing so. Wackywacedictaphone 14:27, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Oh man! I didn't realize I usually look at them for ideas for how to structure, but I guess I did it too close. Sorry I'll fix that now. Bobby122 Contact Me (C) 14:32, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
It'd be better to look at the sources for how not to structure; present the ideas in a different, original order. --Pi zero (talk) 16:13, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Tagged as Stale[edit]

There have been significant news developments since Sunday, October 24, 2010. They should be written into a new, separate article, not this one. Thanks, -- Cirt (talk) 23:49, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
