The name of the Computing Sciences Research Center does not appear in the sources, but *does* appear in a standard official blurb about him which has been used numerous times and apparently derives ultimately from his self-description at [1], where also originates the sentence "Subsequently, I aided Ken Thompson in creating the Unix operating system." None of the cited sources here use such phrasing, which is clearly parroted here from somewhere (too closely even if the source were properly listed). Neither of the cited sources mentions Mac OS X. At that point, I admit defeat; I'm not going to try to screen each passage in this both for verifiability and non-copyvio of the sources, and non-copyvio of unlisted sources as well.
