It needs to say it in a way that a general reader understands the focal event being described, understands short answers to most of the basic questions, understands why the event is significant, why it's newsworthy. Let's take a look at the first two paragraphs here, each of which seems to be an attempt at a lede. F.C. Barcelona wins La Liga 14-15. Under the captaincy of Xavi, Barca wins the 23rd La-liga. These are written in the style of headlines, not in the style of article text. From these sentences, the general reader doesn't know what sport is involved; what La Liga is; where this took place; when this took place. Questions about the above? Ask. But I just cant do it for paragraphs 3 and 4...I'm sorry. There's just TOO MUCH going on in those paragraphs. Please re-think in terms of 'inverted pyramid'....when in doubt, CUT IT OUT! Its a good article....and cool story; there're just a few structural things holding it back right now. Please be more thorough about sourcing background information; although we can't trust anything Wikipedia says, you can choose to draw on whatever sources Wikipedia cites (if, of course, they're trust-worthy sources and actually say what they're supposed to say). Keep in mind, a Wikinews article can use sources for background information that aren't about the specific event; for example, if you say that Ronaldo is a three-time Ballon d'Or winner, you should cite a trust-worthy source for that. I've gone further than a reviewer normally would in order to generously interpret what the sources cover (such as the bit about Enrique that a source mentions rather minimally), given the article has been admirably improved in going around the block multiple times with not-read/revise/resubmit and is now at the far end of its discretionary freshness window. A few things I just couldn't justify from the sources. The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.
