- I live in East Texas (quite a few miles East of Dallas) and these winds started about 10:00pm local time on Wednesday night (for us, at least). I woke up this morning to find one-half of a rather large willow tree lying atop my house! One of those situations when the reporter becomes a part of the story! --Bddpaux (talk) 17:42, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thursday morning, 7:08am local time, watching a news bit about the storm on t.v. provided by the Dallas ABC-News affiliate, which showed shots of fallen lamp posts and overturned playground equipment.--Bddpaux (talk) 20:12, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
- Also, Thursday morning........odd to see so many cars around town (Tyler) just layered with dirt! Mine is in the photo. --Bddpaux (talk) 18:30, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
