The thing is that the Minor Planet Circulars are now published with a lag. So the information about the naming became available only yesterday (January 30) in the evening. You can see that the lists were updated on Jan 30:

So the circular is dated the 27th but actually became available on the 30th? That would be a valid reason for reckoning freshness from the 30th. It should be made clear in the article. --Pi zero (talk) 15:04, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Already circulating[edit]

This link's already going around the Twittersphere, a cleaned-up version with detail ASAP would be a good thing - chance to be the breaking news source. Commentary from WMF? - David Gerard (talk) 18:04, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I'd heard something (via IRC) about the link being spread around. It's clearly labeled as not having passed review, so readers are not uninformed thereof. I'm working on it; I can't work faster than as fast as I can, which is how fast I work anyway. --Pi zero (talk) 18:41, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
But of course :-) - David Gerard (talk) 20:33, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
