- Don't know. It just said weather service. It's probably the government.--Shankarnikhil88 (talk) 17:33, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
- I can only partially find this quote, "Do not travel! If you must travel ... have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded ... stay with your vehicle." Were is the rest of the quote?--Patrick M (TUFKAAP) (talk) 18:16, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
- I reduced the quote to something much shorter, that the CNN source provides. The old version was nice, but not worth holding up publication for. It may well be that one or another of the sources used to provided it but has since been changed. --Pi zero (talk) 19:15, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Original Reporting
[edit]I live in the Chicago area and therefore was right in the heart of the storm. That's how I took those photos. I also heard the thundersnow, and saw and walked through the blizzard. However, I didn't interview everybody, so I don't think that it's original reporting (I stuck mostly to the sources). --Shankarnikhil88 (talk) 17:36, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
