Oh, I see you added a second source for the focal event as I was reviewing. Heavy Water (talk) 14:54, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

5th?[edit]

From June 29 to July 3, it is the fifth night. Asked42 (talk) 15:05, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think Tuesday (the 27th and when Merzouk was shot) was when the riots started; Reuters says of last night "Sixth night of riots sees fewer arrests, 300 cars torched". Heavy Water (talk) 15:21, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok, implementing. Asked42 (talk) 15:33, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Looking a bit better on cohesion/focus. I may do a review.--Bddpaux (talk) 16:19, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

As of this moment, in a holding pattern... waiting for answer to question.--Bddpaux (talk) 16:29, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yeah. The headline is still unfocused though. Maybe "France: Nationwide unrest following police killing of Nahel Merzouk continues for sixth night"? That would also clarify the shooting was fatal and the killing was by police, not of police. Heavy Water (talk) 16:42, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Clarified that sentence and modified headline. All source articles checked.--Bddpaux (talk) 17:03, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
