Notes[edit]

Minor semi is today. I'm probably not going to travel to Caboolture for it. Will be checking the papers and facebook for updates on it. --RockerballAustralia c 01:08, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Source disagreeing with notes[edit]

I've just noted that one of the copy edits was made with the explanation that the source disagreed with the notes. Taken on face value this would be correct. Two (minor?) points should be made. (1) Stockland is the sponsor of the stadium, (2) Kawana isn't actually a suburb, its a group of suburbs of which Warana is one. I'm not going to make a big deal out of the particular copyedit. This was just intended as an FYI. --RockerballAustralia c 03:25, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah. Explanation appreciated. At the time, I avoided delaying publication by pulling a minor detail with a perplexing anomaly in its verification check. Poking around the related Wikipedia pages now, it seems a sanity check on en.wp would produce pretty random results. It does admit Kawana includes Warana. w:Stockland Stadium redirects to "Willows Sports Complex", which doesn't even look related afaics. w:Sunshine Coast Stadium goes nowhere, with the top search match being "Stockland Park". Tauntingly, w:Sunshine Coast Rugby Union says their headquarters is "Sunshine Coast Stadium, Queensland"... though with no wikilink and no more specific location than "Queensland". Doh. Thanks for untangling. --Pi zero (talk) 12:14, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
