How can anyone show bias towards this story, "Oldest Twit waists electricity by using internet" BKCW8 talk

POV is not solely the case where one is advocating for/supporting an ideological or emotional position; it is also when one romanticizes a given set of events or actions, or otherwise makes statements of fact which are actually conjecture or opinion. For example, from this article:
  • "Long thought to be the oldest user..."
  • "who were all informed of her passing..."
  • This sentence contains 3 statements of fact, which in fact are opinions or subjective statements: "Prior to being the oldest person on Twitter, in 2008 Bean became the oldest person on Facebook which is where she first became an internet phenomenon."
  • "Among her fans and followers, were Peter Andre - who she had met and often talked about, and Chris Evans." <- While these persons may demonstrably be fans and followers, the statement implies value judgments about both the persons and that they would be fans/followers.

Front-page worthy?[edit]

This doesn't seem like it is something that deserves to be in Lead 2. --Thunderhead (t - e - c) 04:51, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
