Reporters notes[edit]
It seems a bit silly to have reporters notes for a photo essay. The majority of the photos are self-explanatory. But here goes.
I took photos from a spot in Regent Street, with the exception of the photo of the anti-gay protesters, which was taken in Lower Regent Street.
A full list of groups participating is online here.
The parade route and the fact that 'Love and Marriage' is a theme is described on the website.
That the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill debate is "continuing" in Parliament can be seen by looking at the status page on parliament.uk.
As for the individual pictures:
- Appearance and context should be enough to inform a reasonable person that this is a drag queen.
- That these people are part of Filipino LGBT UK is verified by the fact that one of them is hoisting a banner that says 'Filipino LGBT UK'.

- That these are topless barmen/go-go boys is deduction from the fact that a number of them have a temporary tattoo from Ku, a bar.
