Wikinews cannot publish copyrighted material, and it appears a large part of your article was simply cut-and-pasted with one or two words replaced with a synonym. As the contributor you must fix this, or someone else can, but not a reviewer. JJLiu112 (talk) 01:16, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

"It was hit hard by Hurricane Maria, a Category 4 storm, in 2017." vs. "It was struck intensely by Hurricane Maria, a Category 4 storm, back in 2017." Of course what this means is that the article is not concise nor are its adjectives in many case apt (e.g., "fallen apart" implies a magnitude of destruction not presumable from "crumbles" in the present tense). Should be freshly rewritten with a mind to synthesise information and potentially add more recent updates to this evolving situation. Questions about the above? Ask.
