Headline[edit]

The original headline was:

Mexican researchers discover 39 new cockroach species in Arenivaga, a genus of 9

I really do appreciate the merit of noting in the headline the increase of species in the genus by a factor of five, but I had trouble parsing that. I So I tried

Mexican researchers discover 39 new cockroach species in previously small genus Arenivaga

but a genus of nine specifies isn't necessarily "small". I'm not entirely happy with where I've left the headline because the significance of the number 39 is less clear. This headline is tricky to get right. --Pi zero (talk) 18:35, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The following is from Heidi Hopkins, from an email exchange forwarded to scoop by this article's original author:

Dear Svetlana, I have looked at your write up and it is very good. Please change as soon as possible the title, which should say American, or New Mexican researcher (singular, I am the only researcher on this project). This research does not originate in Mexico, but in the state of New Mexico in the US. Also, please add that I am advised by Dr. Kelly Miller and based at the Museum of Southwestern Biology at the University of New Mexico. Please send me a link to the corrected version, and thank you so much for your interest! Best, Heidi

As gry correctly identifies in the email, only the request to mention Dr Miller remains after review. BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 15:47, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
