"(Jewish/Zionist)"
[edit]According to the source article, it merely read "I look forward to the day when you pigs get your throats cut." and s/he "left his email address as "zionistpig" at hotmail.com." Where did "Jewish/Zionist" come from? I can't even see a mention of "Jewish" in the source article. Jewish and Zionist are different terms, there are non-Zionist Jews and non-Jewish Zionists, although it's certainly true that zionist is sometimes used as code for Jew by anti-semites. It it not the place of a news report to insert such things into a quote however. I have corrected this.
Connection between the two parts
[edit]LGF is where this suspicious photo was discussed, gathering lots of attention from Digg, etc., and accumulating relevant information. So the photo manipulation and death threat are not just two events happened close to each other that may hurt credibility of Reuters. I thought the story should mention the potential connection by, say, explaining the role of LGF in this event. Tomos 22:48, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
