Sorry I was not able to improve this article or re-review it. It looks really good, with a very solid writing style.

I noticed two things for possible improvement:

1. Quotes. Your story needs them. Could be the number 1 draft pick, a coach, an analyst, etc. Could also be something simple or something complex.
2. Why were Pirates? and Twins teams who benefited? Explain that a bit and it plugs that hole nicely.
