Review of revision 4374467 [Passed]

[edit]

"Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has been overseeing anti-corruption, austerity and social reforms programs since late last year, which included giving women the right to drive automobiles" -- he supported, but did not "give" the right (prince Alwaleed bin Talal issued a statement in support of eradicating this ban). Decree has to be signed by the king, so it is not entirely true to say the prince gave the right.

From a practical perspective, the question becomes, what change to the text is proposed? Keeping in mind that substantive changes are possible for the next... eight hours or so, is it? Also keeping in mind that the current text of this article does not say the prince gave the the right, it says he oversaw the reforms. --Pi zero (talk) 19:18, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
