I have been mildly acquainted with Mr. Knutsen (aka Terry Teene) for some years. He lives in a neighboring town. For some time, we belonged to a performance organization based in Tyler, Texas (but he is no longer formally affiliated with that organization). Some years ago, he performed a couple of times at a nursing home where I served as the Administrator.....and I've known him "around town" (as he rides a bicycle that is often weighed down with mounds of ephemera). As he claims (and has claimed) some accomplishments/experiences that are poorly documented/sourced, I'm going to stick VERY HARD to putting very concrete facts/information in this article......one of those situations where I might be "too close to the story"! • At 10:43pm on 3/7/2012 I spoke with a long-time friend of Mr. Teen's (who requested anononymity). He stated that Mr. Teen had been severely injured in a bicycle vs. tow truck accident earlier in the evening and that police were saying Mr. Knutsen may've been at fault. • Spoke with source again at 11:49pm on 3/7/2012, stated he'd seen Mr. Knutsen moments earlier and that doctors were describing his condition as "critical", stating he'd suffered severe trauma during the accident.Bddpaux (talk) 19:41, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Q: Did you happen by the accident scene? A: "Yes, I drove by just a while after it happened. I could see a smashed up bicycle covered in all kinds of plastic shopping bags and stuff and there was a yellow raincoat. I thought it might be Terry."Bddpaux (talk) 21:23, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Q: What do things look like this morning.
A: "The doctors are not very confident. His condition is grave." Bddpaux (talk) 21:59, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

In Living Color reference

[edit]

Mr. Knutsen has a very distinct "style" to his clown make-up.......his character "Clownzo" is unique. I personally viewed a recorded episode of "In Living Color" about 4 years ago, where he is very briefly visible, being comedically struck by the character, "Homey the Clown". He was not credited in the episode, but the episode was from (approximately) 1989 or 1990 (can't quite remember).Bddpaux (talk) 18:43, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
