Comments by reviewer: Short, but enough to avoid {{minimal}} and the sources are short too. Nice story. Newsworthy?
[edit]Auto accidents happen every day. While it may be unusual for such a dramatic accident in Isle of Man, I'm not seeing the newsworthiness. Consider w:Epidemiology_of_motor_vehicle_collisions -- Ke4roh (talk) 01:19, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- Wikinews accepts local news. You may wish to add Category:Local only to the article, though. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 01:20, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- Category:Local only doesn't really do anything, with the general concensuss that in the future we might want to filter the main page to not have local stories, but at the moment, we aren't big enough to warrent doing that yet (it does keep them out of developing list though, which is an odd choice, but historically what it does). Newsworthiness is much like notability on wikipedia - theres a lot of rather local people who still get articles (and yet a lot of people who whine one they don't meet the criteria). In any case this meets our rather lax newsworthiness guidelines. Bawolff ☺☻ 01:25, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
